Hi friends!
I’ve got big news. I’m changing my company name! After seven years of operating as Circle Heart Books, my company name is changing to Egret Lake Books.This is in preparation of opening up to publish other author’s books.
Now that my kids are going back to school, I plan to funnel more time into editing and publishing fiction novels—women’s fiction and romance. I’m also interested in creating nonfiction books and poetry books.
Upcoming Poetry Book
The first book under my new imprint will be called Hope & Languish: Poems, a short book of poems about the first year of the pandemic, written by author Chenelle Bremont. These past months we’ve been working closely together on editing, book design, and the cover and it’s looking great. It should be out before Thanksgiving.
New Logo and Website
To support the launch of my new company name, I also commissioned a new logo, designed to capture the image of an egret under a tree. This month I also went live with a new Egret Lake Books website.
I’m incredibly lucky to be surrounded by supportive family and friends and look forward to communicating with you as each chapter in my new company unfolds.
