Poetry Month
Okay, technically poetry month isn’t until April, but around here it certainly FELT like poetry month as I launched two new poetry books back to back. As a fledgling book publisher, like a bird learning to fly I felt a bit shaky jumping off that ledge and testing out my wings.
But now with two beautiful poetry books complete, my wings are starting to live up to their potential. I’m impatient and I want everything to happen at once, but that’s not how building a business from the ground up works. Instead, I’m testing new things, discarding what falls flat, and keeping those that fly.
One thing that certainly did fly was the two incredible book launch parties thrown by authors Celaine Charles and Chenelle Bremont!

Book Launch Party for
Love Across the Stars

A beautiful sunny day for a book launch party.
The fancy “step and repeat” background was a huge hit.
Chenelle’s finished book – ready to read!

48 Reviews – Thank you book community!
Not only were the launch parties a fun way to celebrate but they were instrumental in getting more reviews for each book.
We are up to 22 reviews for Three Hearts Stitched and 26 reviews for Love Across the Stars. Here are excerpts from a few reviews (one from each book):
I received a complimentary advance copy of Three Hearts Stitched through LibraryThing’s Early Reviewers program; my review is voluntary. As an adult child of adoption, I was drawn to this book’s description; when I learned that I was selected to receive a copy, I inwardly acknowledged that it would likely be an emotionally complicated read for me. I was not prepared to burst into tears on the first page and never stop. Read Full Review
This book has all of the ups, downs, joys, and pitfalls of dating. The way that she explores love through time and space, adds such a layer of dimensionality to each word, phrase, and poem. Poems such as “The Stars,” “Chemistry,” “Stars and Comets,” “Think of All The Love,” and “Long Distance” are some of my favorites in this book. Again, this book is an essential read… Read Full Review
I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to anyone who has written a review for these two new poetry books. The time you took to write it is greatly appreciated. If you haven’t had a chance yet, now is still a great time to write a review. Every review counts and will help other readers discover our books! Post your review here for Three Hearts Stitched. Post your review here for Love Across the Stars.
Women’s Fiction Novels – Early Readers
This summer I’ll be releasing two new women’s fiction novels. In preparation for those book launches, I’m actively looking for “early readers.” These are people who want to receive a free copy of the ebook before the book comes out, in exchange for a commitment to read it now, keep it confidential of course, and then promote it the week of the book launch by writing reviews and posting on their social accounts. If you are interested please signup here to be an early reader.
