I’ve known Chenelle for longer than I can remember. We cut our teeth in the video game production together by day and wrote our hearts out by night. She was writing her fantasy trilogy, and I was writing screenplays. Ten (fifteen? twenty? don’t ask…) years later she’s come into her own as an amazing poet, putting her literature degree to good use and writing from a new perch in Southern California. Meanwhile, I am editing, designing, and putting out her beautiful books from a suburb of Seattle. I’m beyond grateful for her friendship, her poems, and her constant support. I can honestly say that without Chenelle, my book company would not exist.
This is Chenelle’s second contemporary-style poetry book. It has an element of storytelling that I’m very excited about.
